The British Museum

I stay in St Albans overnight, and having from about 8. Tomorrow 12 am to check in at Luton airport at 4. 45. It's a shame to be so close and not go to the British Museum, as I have always wanted. Would it be possible to catch a train to London to do this? What station would need to get off at, and how do I get to the museum of the easiest way possible. I was so happy to find this – First Capital Connect train to St Albans St Pancras International. Walk through the length of the station (stop to admire) and take the Northern Line to Tottenham Court Road, which is about 100 yeards Museum. You can then get a First Capital Connect train back to St. Pancras International (with another opportunity to see this fabulous station) direct to Luton Airport Parkway.
