Okay, so I'm going to attend the summer program at SVA in a couple of weeks and I got a list of events / activities / excursions you can participate in all that sounds amazing, but I'm having trouble deciding which ones to choose. I do not know much about New York or what the city has to offer, so if someone could help me with your suggestions / opinions that would be beyond awesome events organized in categories with the options given to me. Broadway Shows: – Phantom of the Opera – Priscilla Queen of the Desert – Billy Elliot – Stomp – How to Succeed in Business – Rental – Anything Goes – Memphis – Million Dollar Quartet – The Addams Family – Rain, The Beatles (i love the beatles but it is more of a concert or a story) – The Gazillion Bubble Show – Mamma Mia museums to visit: (I like visiting art museums) – Wax Museum Madame Tussaud – The Metropolitan – MoMA (Museum of Modern Art) – The Whitney – Natural History Museum – The Rubin Museum – Cooper-Hewitt Design Museum – The Frick Collection and Neighborhood Tours Sites City: (I'm very interested in good food, I love shopping, but I am a buyer and cheap guess I'd go to any place that is interesting and inspiring) – Madison Square Union – Central Park Sketches – East Village – Little Italy / Chinatown – SoHo – East Village Sunday – Top of the Rock on NBC – The West Village. Harboring Hearts Housing Foundation, Inc. Is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to providing a comprehensive resource center and accommodation for patients and caregivers are hospitalized for heart related diseases in the city of New York. There is a shortage of affordable housing in New York, and heart-related surgeries are extremely costly. Additional living costs during hospitalization can be a tremendous burden, but also patients and caregivers face emotional burdens to navigate through this difficult time. It is the objective of sheltering Housing hearts to help alleviate the financial and emotional burden. Harboring Hearts Housing's initial goal is to provide access to medicines, high quality housing for heart transplant patients and their caregivers, in cooperation with local investors. From there, we will expand our mission to develop a large-scale affordable housing facility and resources, which will be open to all cardiac patients and their caregivers.
