Louvre Museum

I have the intention of arriving in Paris on the train from London via the English Channel. He wanted to know whether it is advisable to stay at the Sheraton Airport Hotel in Paris if I want to go sightseeing at the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum in Paris and the bridge. Also, how long would it take to cover the whole of Paris (tourism)? Is there a particular tour of Paris I should consider? Please advise. After talking with others on the web, I found the answer. I agree: BAD BAD BAD idea. Coming by train will be lucky to get directly in the center of Paris, why stay in a hotel far away in the suburbs if you are coming to visit Paris? You can walk from the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre (3 km = less than 2 km) or take the subway or bus. Check www. Ratp. Fr Website to download maps and other information. How much time is needed to cover the whole of Paris depends on the idea of tourism. 2 days is the minimum to get a glimpse of the main attractions. But you could stay weeks and not have time to enjoy all that is. No need to make visits unless maybe bike rides, which are a little fun and you learn a lot. A less sporty to see the main attraction are the boat tours along the Seine. If you are traveling alone and did not prepare your trip much to hire a tour guide for you can be a good idea for half a day or two, if not forget. The hotels will have brochures or you can get a list and tourist guides tourist office (www. ParisInfo. Com). Do not go to any of the major tours, are ridiculous and a complete waste of time.
