Historic Preservation

I changed my mind about what I want to do in the future. I was wondering if anyone had any information on the race in historic preservation. I think I found an answer. I have worked with historical preservationists in Massachusetts for many years, and is concerned primarily with the preservation of historic structures, landscapes and cityscapes. Many worked for the state and municipalities as planners and specialists (such as those in the evolution of bridge design). There are also many private consulting firms with architectural historians to investigate the history of the properties and produce reports and develop nomination papers for the National Register of Historic Places. For careers in these areas, recommend an academic background in urban planning, architecture, civil engineering, public administration, and history, of course.
